My name is Maritza Rosado, and I\\'m very the very proud principal of Selma Elementary school. I consider Selma my second home. I also consider myself very fortunate to have the privilege to serve the Selma community alongside the hardest working and dedicated educators in Johnston County.
I have been an educator for 20 years--15 of which have been in North Carolina. I completed a Bachelor of Education and Technology in my native Puerto Rico and also hold two master\\'s degrees: one in education and a second in school administration from North Carolina State University. I worked as a regular education teacher, ESL teacher, and curriculum specialist. I have two wonderful boys. My oldest son teaches 3rd grade and my youngest is a teacher assistant. Both make me feel very proud. I love this journey and serving the Selma community.
